Many explain a healthy and happy man as the blessed individual, but attaining a healthy mind and body is not a blessing, it’s the regular dedication and hard work of the person in keeping himself/herself happiest and healthiest with simple yet essential habits and good eating.

At present, when most of us are addicted to many unhealthy habits due to the immensely busy lifestyle, the simplest concept of healthy living has turned into an Art. It is because exercising leads to the release of endorphins in the body that lowers the sense of pain and increases the sense of pleasure and happiness. So, head out for a jog or start working out with a ten-minute app on your mobile phone, at least give a start to regularly exercising habit.
2. Feed Your Stomach with Good Food
Do you know a chemical named serotonin present in our body, promotes the feeling of happiness? And, 90% of serotonin chemical is made in our gut. Therefore, anything that we put in our stomach, impacts our mood. Considering this vital fact, include healthy foods in the diet that are rich in nutrients and other health-benefiting factors. Also, make sure to stay away from processed foods, high sugar food, frequent antibiotics, and carb diets. Practicing yoga, regular walking and eliminating negative self-talk or negative people from life for reducing stress are some other things of consideration.
3. Always Stay Hydrated
Adequate water intake is one of the most vital habits to help your body release toxins easily from the body and hydrating it. Also, it aids the functioning of the kidney and cleanses the skin from within. Furthermore, healthy water intake habit also helps in strengthening the immune system and relieving fatigue. If plain water seems boring quote often then squeezing a lemon with some sprig of herbs can turn it delightful. No wonder, your body will definitely thank you for taking adequate fluids.
3. Discover Peace of Mind
If you don’t have any idea about how to find peace of mind then you must make a small list of everything that you value and desire and see if you are actually working towards it. Do you worry over little things or goal completions? Are you immensely overscheduled? Is there something you are constantly worried about? Now give a look at all your day-to-day worries and try eliminating the worries with better alternatives and spend more time on things that give you a sense of pleasure like playing any sport, giving little time to your hobby, talking to people you love, and more.
4. Never Ever Skip Your Breakfast!
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it’s the first meal you have after night-long fasting. So, giving a kick start with healthier food intake like eggs, oats, brown bread, healthy fruit/vegetable smoothies, cereals, and other prove great as nutrients in such food are absorbed to maximum level during its intake in the morning as breakfast. Apart from always being in bad/cranky mood with depressed feelings, sleep-deprived people have bad digestion and low immunity. Also, according to studies, short sleepers are always at greater risk of having heart disease or stroke than the ones who get themselves 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Furthermore, having adequate sleep is the mantra for increasing your concentration power for better productivity at work. No wonder, a well-rested body can only feel happier and healthier.
6. Stop Making Comparisons with Others
One of the most common ways people often ruin their happiness is with the feeling of discontentment that arises in mind with comparisons made with others. On making any sort of comparison with the lives of others, we often give a feeling of depression to ourselves. Such a feeling of discontentment and depression can decrease confidence and can always make the person unhappy about his/her life, body type, belongings and much more. Instead, try being content and happy with what you have and work hard towards desired aspirations.
